Radiology Tech – CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 16-week assignment. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights on a 12x3 schedule. Weekly pay: $2,209–$2,401. Work setting: hospital radiology department with a high-volume CT environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures on high-volume equipment, including Siemens Edge Plus, Definition AS, and Force CT scanners; optimize protocols and dose, ensure high-quality, diagnostic images.
- Screen patients for contraindications to contrast, administer contrast using an injector, and monitor for adverse reactions; maintain IV access as needed.
- Position patients, select appropriate imaging protocols, and coordinate with radiologists to meet clinical indications; ensure dose optimization and ALARA compliance.
- Operate unit information systems (e.g., Cerner) and document procedures accurately; verify orders and communicate results to the radiology team.
- Assist with interventional CT procedures when needed, including angiography, various biopsy procedures, abscess drains, Pre-Watchman protocols, and ablation protocols.
- Work in a 24-hour department with inpatient and outpatient volumes; adapt to fluctuating workflow and support cross-functional teams; weekend and holiday coverage required.
Requirements
- ARRT certification in radiography required; BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of CT radiology experience in a busy clinical setting.
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners (Edge Plus, Definition AS, Force) preferred.
- Ability to work in a 24-hour department and manage a high-volume imaging workflow.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends; holiday coverage required (two major holidays and one minor holiday per assignment).
- Eligible for state licensure as required; active ARRT and BLS credentials.
