This role may include witnessing signatures, verifying identities, and administering oaths for legal or financial documents. Weekend Notaries often work independently or as mobile notaries, traveling to client locations. This flexibility makes their services ideal for busy professionals, real estate transactions, or last-minute notarization needs.

As a Weekend Notary, your work schedule typically centers around Saturdays and Sundays, with hours that can vary depending on client needs and appointment bookings. Many notaries in this role operate independently or as part of a mobile notary service, which allows for a good degree of flexibility in setting your own hours and accepting jobs that fit your availability. This flexibility can accommodate those looking to supplement their primary income or who prefer to work outside of standard weekday business hours. It's common to travel to clients' homes, offices, or public locations to complete notarizations, making the role ideal for those who value autonomy and variety in their work environment.
