Associate Service Technician – Nilfisk Cleaning Machines (HPW & Floorcare)

Job Title: Associate Field Service Technician (HPW & Floorcare)
Location: Singapore (Field-based)
Reports to: Service Manager

Role Summary

You will install, commission, diagnose and repair Nilfisk commercial cleaning machines with a focus on Vacuum, High-Pressure Washers, Sweeper & floorcare equipment. The role combines hands-on technical work at customer sites with accurate documentation, proactive customer communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service & Repair: Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations on Nilfisk floorcare machines
  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled PMs, change wear parts, verify combustion/heating performance, and document findings with photos and checklists.
  • Diagnostics & Root Cause: Use electrical schematics, pressure/flow/temperature measurements, and error logs to identify root cause
  • Customer Experience: Explain work performed, coach operators on correct use and daily care, and capture feedback; escalate product issues with clear evidence.
  • Parts & Inventory: Manage van stock and returns; create accurate parts quotes and ensure timely ordering/consumption booking.
  • Documentation: Complete service reports, checklists, photos, serial within 24hrs
Qualifications

· Diploma/Certificate in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 2–3 years field service experience with industrial/commercial equipment

· Working knowledge of single/three-phase systems, low-voltage controls, sensors, relays, contactors, burners, pumps, and hydraulics.

· Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and interpret error codes.

· Valid Class 3/4 driving license
