CDL Class A Driver - Home Daily!

$2000 sign on bonus!

 

2 drivers needed:  Monday-Friday 10:30pm-7am

2 driver needed: Friday-Monday 10pm-9am

This third shift will begin in October. If hired early you will be required to work in one of our sites in Manassas or Bristow Virginia until mid-October 2026.

Pay rates starting at $30.50  per hour plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week.  $2/hr shift differental for the night shift, and $3/hr shift differential for weekend night shift

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you'll not only drive our equipment, but you'll also drive our success!  You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.  The normal daily duties require operating a 26-foot box truck making 3-4 deliveries per day on the campus.  At times, you will be required to operate a tractor to move 53-foot trailers.

 

What you'll do on a typical day

  • Drive a 26-foot box truck on most days but will also use tractors at times moving 53-foot trailers in and around the site or on public roads
  • Touch freight position.  Role wheeled kitting cages weighing around 50 pounds from the dock onto the 26 foot box truck and unload them on the dock at their destination.  
  • Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices
  • Perform routine inspections
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch

What you'll need to succeed at GXO

 

At a minimum you'll need:

  • 6 months of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) experience operating a tractor trailer pulling 53-foot trailers in the last 3 years.  
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • A current valid class A driver's license and a safe MVR
