Job Description Job Title: Public Relations Coordinator Location: Arrington, TN (Headquarters) Department: Marketing Reports to: Director of Marketing Position Type: Full-time Start Date: September 1st, 2025 Position Summary: As a key player on the Eagle's Landing Marketing team, the Public Relations Coordinator will help shape and protect the reputation of Eagle's Landing and its associated brands: The Upper Deck, Glacier, and The Ark. This role is responsible for supporting and executing public relations strategies that elevate brand visibility, foster positive media relationships, and manage internal and external communications across all platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for storytelling, event promotion, and youth sports.

Key Responsibilities: Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and official statements. Build and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets. Pitch story ideas and coordinate press coverage for Eagle's Landing events and programs.

Serve as a liaison between media representatives and internal departments. Monitor media coverage and compile regular PR reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness. Assist with crisis communication efforts and protect the organization's public image.

Support internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and talking points for staff. Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice. Assist with coordinating interviews, press conferences, and media events.

Track PR KPIs and help refine strategy based on performance and feedback. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. Proficient in PR software/tools such as Cision, Muck Rack, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and handle sensitive information professionally.

Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of media trends and a keen interest in sports, youth programming, or events is a plus. Must reside near Arrington, TN, be able to commute and/or be willing to relocate.
