UBEO Business Services, the premier provider of business technology products and services, is seeking to hire a Senior Systems and Network Engineer to join our team in Chico, California.
UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Canon, Ricoh, Xerox and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations.

Purpose
Ubeo is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems and Network Engineer. This is a vital position responsible for maintaining the security, reliability and growth of our IT infrastructure. This high-level role is actively involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and standards while providing technical leadership across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network and systems infrastructure
  • Oversee system and network security by following STIG and CIS best practices
  • Develop, enforce, and maintain IP policies, procedures, and standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across the organization
  • Support and understand Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, SharePoint, Office365, NPS, and Active Directory
  • Support and understand Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, virtual machines, databases and identity solutions
  • Integrate Azure services with M365, on-prem servers, and enterprise applications
  • Configure, maintain, and monitor network firewalls, VPNs, and network security appliances to ensure secure connectivity across sites and cloud environments
  • Perform vulnerability detection, remediation, and systems patching
  • Serve as an escalation point for technical issues
  • Manage time effectively while maintaining accurate ticket documentation
  • Communicate clearly with end users to keep them informed of ticket status and resolution

  • Deep understanding of network and cloud security best practices

  • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
