Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC) manages the 14,000-seat, spectacular multipurpose venue that is currently named Dickies Arena and the Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The Arena hosts more than 150 events annually including concerts, sporting events, family events, private meetings and charity events and is the home to Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR). WRMC hosts more than 150 events annually including equestrian and western events, concerts, family shows as well as private events and meetings.
Job Summary:
Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a full-time graphic designer. This position will be responsible for branding, creating and designing all materials for TDMC. They will maintain the integrity of the Arena & WRMC brands in all creative efforts for the venues and any other venues that TDMC manages in the future.
This position will be 100% on-site.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Brand development for the Arena and WRMC in coordination with the Director.
  • Create all graphic design imaging for the Arena and WRMC, including printed materials, venue collateral, signage, advertisements, and digital imaging for venue website and social media accounts
  • Research trends in the industry and be knowledgeable of what other venues, partners and companies in the industry are doing to stay abreast of the latest efforts
  • Follow brand standards when developing corporate marketing materials
  • Create mockups for various departments for a visual reference for design and branding
  • Be a source of knowledge regarding design and design programs for TDMC
  • Manage workload in a fast-paced environment to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of work
  • Ability to manage and juggle multiple projects at the same time among multiple departments
  • Prepare high-res files appropriately for printing and sending to the appropriate departments for printing
  • Manage design projects from concept to creation and printing to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are achieved
  • Lead as well as actively participate in team brainstorming sessions to create new and fresh ideas
  • Create original artwork with various mediums to graphically support a request or idea
  • Support, develop, and edit existing marketing material such as print and digital ads, brochures, power point presentations, etc. as we continue to evolve, change and grow
  • Design and create decks for various departments, including sponsorship decks, IT decks, booking decks, etc. for various target audiences/partners
  • Assist with design, development, and editing of the Arena and WRMC websites
  • Assist marketing team during events as needed, including but not limited to photography
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years or age
  • BS in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working as a Graphic Designer.
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Word Press, Flipping Book and Formstack
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to research new technologies and trends that benefit proficiency, productivity, and creative development for the department
  • Ability to solve problems and find solutions to new ideas or situations that arise
  • Understanding of printing methods, and knowledge of preparing files for print and printer's expectations
  • Knowledge of a wide range of file types and when they should be used in the appropriate situation
  • Knowledge of Pantone, CMYK, and RGB, and situations of when to use each
  • Knowledge of digital design with animation and video skills a plus
  • Photography proficiency a plus
  • Proficiency with color; their relationships and effects on one another, as well as the psychological effects they evoke.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including - nights, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:
