About the FamilyA warm, active private family located in Alexandria, Virginia is seeking an experienced, energetic Weekend Nanny to support their household. The family values hands-on, screen-free childcare and enjoys an outdoor, physically active lifestyle. They are looking for a professional nanny who can confidently manage young children, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and provide attentive, engaging care. You will have care of the toddlers on Sat and Sun. On Monday you will have care of only the infant.
Children: Two children, ages 5 and 3, 3 month old(must also be experienced with infants)
Home: Multi-level townhouse in a walkable neighborhood
ResponsibilitiesProvide attentive, high-energy childcare for two young children in a safe and nurturing environment
Confidently care for infants, drawing on prior hands-on experience
Engage children in creative, imaginative, and educational play without screen time
Plan and participate in outdoor activities, including walks, park outings, and sports
Push and maneuver a childrens wagon during neighborhood walks and activities
Actively participate in physical play, including running, playing tag, and age-appropriate sports
Safely navigate stairs within the familys townhouse
Supervise and participate in swimming activities (pool time and boating during summer months)
Ride an e-bike to transport children to nearby parks and activities
Maintain a structured, engaging routine in a fast-paced environment
Perform light childcare-related tidying and organization as needed

They are creative, proactive, and confident caring for multiple children at once. This nanny thrives in an active household, enjoys being outdoors, and brings a positive, flexible attitude to each shift. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a calm, professional demeanor are essential.
RequirementsPrior professional experience caring for multiple toddlers and infants
CPR certified
Fluent in English
Able to push, bend, lift, and carry 5060 lbs
Physically able to run, climb stairs, and engage in active play
Comfortable walking long distances while pushing a childrens wagon
Strong swimmer; comfortable supervising water activities
Able to confidently ride a bike or e-bike
Flexible with schedule changes and extended hours when needed
Legal to work in the United States
