Receptionist

Responsible for scheduling students, friendly and helpful customer service, light cleaning and organizing of reception and lobby spaces, and clerical duties.

Primary Objective: Customer service and student scheduling.

Qualifications: We value the following traits in our receptionists: customer service, multitasking, attention to detail, communication, teamwork and dependability. Experience with Google Drive, Quickbooks online, and spreadsheets are a plus. Love of music is a must.

Music Theory Lab Lead

Music theory instructor facilitating student self‑paced study in a technology lab setting. Light cleaning tasks are also required.

At MTMS, music teachers are hourly employees, not contractors. Music teachers are paid for hours worked at recitals, parties, and other performance events. Teachers who keep their students are rewarded with retention bonuses.

Qualifications: We value the following traits in our Lab Attendants: rapport with children, planning and organizing, adaptability, leadership, communication, teamwork and dependability. Our ideal candidate has or is working toward a music education degree and is qualified to teach at least two high‑demand instruments (piano, guitar, voice, violin, drums) at the beginner level in addition to any additional primary instrument(s). Applicants must pass a music theory test and demonstrate proficiency on the instruments they teach.
