Position Summary
This is a strictly contract role providing flight and ground instruction to TAS Aviation students. Contract instructors are expected to deliver high-quality training, uphold TAS standards, and maintain professionalism in all training environments. This position is not a full-time employment role and does not include employee benefits.
Compensation: Contract rate of $600 per day.
What You'll Do
  • Provide flight and ground instruction in accordance with TAS standards and FAA regulations
  • Maintain accurate and timely student progress documentation
  • Demonstrate strong communication, situational awareness, and instructional judgment
  • Represent TAS Aviation professionally with students and training partners

Minimum Qualifications
  • Commercial Single-Engine and Multi-Engine Rating
  • Second-Class Medical Certificate or better
  • No accidents or incidents on record
  • 1,500 hours total time
  • 250 hours multi-engine time

Additional Instructor Requirements
  • CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings
  • At least 500 hours of dual given
  • Strong instructional communication skills and a student-focused mindset
