American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a teaching hospital setting requiring ARRT-R certification and a minimum of 1 year of MRI experience.
Details- Acute care teaching hospital with Level 4 trauma designation and 149 staffed beds
- MRI department with a daily caseload of 12 patients per tech in 1 room
- Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Occasional weekend coverage as needed per department needs
- On-call required every Wednesday 11:00 PM-6:30 AM and every 3rd weekend
- Will float between two Mercy campuses (Coon Rapids and Unity) as needed
- Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system
- Works with 1.5 Siemens Avanto MRI scanner
- Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI required
- ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Experience required in Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Community Hospital, and Adult ICU settings
- IV start skills required
- Experience with 1.5 Siemens Avanto scanner required
- Epic/Excellian charting experience required
- Dark gray scrub color required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates accepted for this radiology position
- Ideally no more than 5 days of requested RTO during the assignment
- Returning employees must have been gone at least 3 months since their last shift worked as staff or per diem
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
