Job description

Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of MedSurg and ICU experience. Must have strong neuro experience.

Unit Details: Medical-surgical ICU caring for medical and surgical neuro patients, sepsis, respiratory failure, and alcohol detox. Stroke care, cerebral monitoring and drains, vents, drips, chest tubes, spinal drains, JPs, and some CRRT patients. May see logging, motorcycle, and snowmobile accidents.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday rotation. On-call not required; picking up call is permitted with a 1-hour response time. Hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation. Set weekly hours may be reduced during holidays when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements: Will float between MS ICU and Neuro ICU units; possible float to other critical care units and other inpatient units as needed.

6 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
