DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

Daytona International Speedway is a state-of-the-art motorsports facility and was awarded the SportsBusiness Journal's prestigious Sports Business Award for Sports Facility of the Year in 2016. Daytona International Speedway is the home of "The Great American Race" - the DAYTONA 500. Though the prestigious season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event garners most of the attention - as well as the largest audience in motorsports - the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." Among the nine major weekends of racing activity are the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONA Supercross, the DAYTONA 200 motorcycle classic and the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include track tours, concerts, civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.

JOB SUMMARY: The Seasonal Hospitality General Staff Team Member will work under the direction of the Event Experience team. The General Hospitality position is responsible for greeting guests, checking admissions and answering questions our guests may have in our various hospitality locations on race day. This job entails friendly, outgoing and positive people who are willing to work as part of a team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability and willingness to take direction and follow through with assigned responsibilities, multi-task and exercise good judgement

  • Must be able to attend and participate in all pre-event training sessions and all assigned event days

  • Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including early mornings, late nights, weekends and indoor/outdoor environments when required

  • Must be punctual, dependable, able to stand for periods of time, walk long distances, ability to lift up to 25lbs.

  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment

  • Exude positive attitude and place the guest experience at a premium

  • Some positions may require work for 1 hour past the checkered flag

Must be available to work race weekends, Jan 23-25 and Feb 12-15.
