Responsibilities

Our Clinical Nurses (RN) in OP Chemotherapy independently provide care to adult patients with a focus in medical and surgical oncologic specialties such as breast, GYN and neuroendocrine tumors. ย Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment, and serves as a resource for other team members.

Shift: PRN; Day


Requirements
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam
  • BSN Preferred
  • RN License
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire
  • Must possess one to two years of clinical nursing experience in oncology, strongly preferred
  • Oncology Nurse Certified (OCN) preferred, or agreement to certify within one year of hire
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months of hire
  • Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused. Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.
