What You'll Do
- Conduct engineering analyses, develop designs, and support preparation of construction drawings.
- Manage and execute multiple tasks across various projects.
- Participate in field work and occasional travel to client sites.
- Document and follow through on professional commitments, coordinate meetings, and manage project schedules.
- Leverage advanced office software to create, edit, and deliver professional documents and presentations.
- Interpret site data, construction plans, historical references, and investigations to deliver accurate project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mining (or Civil) Engineering preferred, other engineering fields considered. Most clients served from this office are in the Mining Industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in environmental consulting is a plus.
- Knowledge of CAD, and/or GIS programs a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel overnight occasionally.
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to focus on detailed tasks for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in dusty, noisy, or weather-exposed environments.
- Sit or stand for long durations; climb inclines and ladders as needed.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, and adjustable focus.
