Oracle Peoplesoft Enterprise - Functional - Customer Relationship Management - PeopleSoft CRM Support
Role Description:
This role should take responsibility of the activities listed below, and may be asked to perform additional activities related to PeopleSoft Admin Operations
Install, administer, secure and maintain the infrastructure supporting the PeopleSoft applications, including web servers, database servers, application servers, process scheduler, report servers, and file servers in Windows and Linux OS platforms.
Research issues with application middleware, database, etc. and recommends/applies solutions such as configuration changes to OS, WebLogic, PeopleSoft, Tuxedo or additional hardware, memory, CPUs etc.
Document and update standards for PeopleSoft architecture and configuration as well as day-to-day operational procedures and protocols.
Maintain PeopleSoft system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning.
Participate in Business Continuity exercises with periodic testing of application fail over for Disaster Recovery.
Identify, download, track and apply PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades and patches and CPUs for WebLogic, Tuxedo, JDKJRE etc.,
Proactively research available and future releases of PeopleTools and recommend improvements/use of appropriate solutions/tools/security to application groups.
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Serve in a 247 on-call capacity, working evenings and/or weekends as needed.
