Do you have 2 or more years of hands-on experience with electro-mechanical or electronic equipment? Then this Laser System Test Technician role at a medical device company in the greater Seattle area could be the right fit for you!
 
They design and manufacture surgical laser systems used in operating rooms. In this role, you will be responsible for the final testing and validation of those systems before they ship. Your work directly impacts patient safety and product quality. It is precise, technical work that matters.

Laser System Test Technician Duties:
  • Assemble electro-mechanical and optical assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and custom fixtures
  • Optimize laser beam output by adjusting lenses and mirrors to meet production standards
  • Conduct pre-defined final tests to validate equipment within OEM specifications
  • Troubleshoot medical equipment to identify root cause of failures, often at the component level
  • Accurately record production data including actions taken and parts used in a database system
 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
 
Laser System Test Technician Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a repair depot, field service, biomedical, or manufacturing environment working with electronic or electro-mechanical equipment
  • Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and soldering
  • Proficiency with standard test and measurement equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, engineering drawings, and work instructions
  • Ability to lift and move items and systems up to 75 lbs
