Zenar is a privately owned, 3rd generation/Top Workplace recipient located in Oak Creek looking for a Mechanical Assembler/Brake Specialist. The Mechanical Assembler/Brake specialist will assemble custom brakes for custom overhead cranes. standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all custom brake assemblies.
  • Assemble various heavy machinery, fabricated metal products.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to build to specification.
  • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Relevant experience with heavy machinery assembly required.

• Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Must have and be able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous experience operating hand tools required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Detail-oriented, consistent workmanship.
