Job description

With over 90 years of industry leadership, Prudential Overall Supply is a trusted provider in uniform and textile rental services. We are currently seeking an entry-level Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, hands-on individual looking to grow their career in industrial maintenance within a stable and team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of industrial equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with support from Plant Management
  • Maintain facility systems including water, mechanical, and production equipment
  • Assist with general facility upkeep (carpentry, painting, custodial tasks)
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and participate in safety initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and professionally
  • Support special projects, including off-shift or weekend work as needed
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
  • Some experience repairing industrial equipment(manufacturing, laundry, or cleanroom environments preferred)
    • Applicable military experience strongly considered
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
    • Blueprint and diagram reading
  • Ability to safely use power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus:
    • Boilers, HVAC systems, wastewater processing
    • Industrial washers, dryers, conveyors, steam tunnels, or water treatment systems
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
