Job description

Regional Director, Women's Health Strategic Accounts - West

Lead. Influence. Transform.

At Natera, we believe every pregnancy deserves the best possible information, and every patient deserves a healthcare system that proactively uses it. Our Women's Health portfolio, built on industry-leading cell-free DNA technology, is redefining the standard of prenatal care across the country.

We're looking for a Regional Director of Strategic Accounts to own and grow our most critical health system relationships in the West. This is not a traditional sales leadership role. You'll operate at the intersection of clinical influence, enterprise strategy, and commercial execution, shaping how major health systems integrate Natera's prenatal testing into their standard of care.

What You'll Own

You'll lead a high-performing team of Strategic Account Managers, driving Women's Health volume, revenue growth, and long-term partnership across the region's most complex and consequential accounts.

Strategic Account Leadership
Design and execute comprehensive account strategies for key health systems, achieving protocol standardization, driving prenatal test adoption, and cementing Natera as an indispensable clinical partner.

Executive-Level Relationship Building
Cultivate trusted relationships with VP-level Women's Health Service Line leaders, OB/MFM Chairs, genetic counselors, KOLs, and laboratory directors. You'll be the face of Natera at the highest levels of these organizations.

Team Development
Coach, develop, and inspire a team of Strategic Account Managers to exceed their goals and grow their careers. You'll set the standard for what great looks like, and you'll make people want to rise to it.

Cross-Functional Influence
Partner deeply with field sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver seamless, insight-driven client experiences, and feed the voice of the customer back into Natera's product and clinical strategy.

Business Intelligence
Analyze market dynamics, competitive positioning, and account performance to identify growth opportunities and bring sharp, data-backed business reviews to both clients and Natera's senior leadership.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of sales experience in diagnostic laboratory or genetics, with a proven track record of driving revenue in complex, clinical environments
  • 5+ years in strategic accounts, business development, or major account management (Miller Heiman, SPIN, or equivalent frameworks)
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in diagnostics or life sciences
  • Deep familiarity with health system dynamics, including Women's Health service lines, reimbursement landscapes (DRG, OPPS, PAMA), and compliance frameworks (Stark, Anti-Kickback)
  • A track record of building executive relationships and driving enterprise-level decisions
  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations and influencing without authority
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

What Sets You Apart

You think strategically, execute with urgency, and lead with integrity. You know how to motivate a team around a shared mission and build the kind of trust that makes both your people and your clients want to stay.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary + uncapped quarterly commissions (OTE reflects true earning potential)
  • Car allowance
  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
  • The opportunity to build something meaningful in a category Natera helped create

This role requires approximately 70% travel across the Western region.
