Job description

Business Development Representative - Title Insurance & Data Solutions
Texas Real Estate | Full-Time
About the Role
We're on the hunt for a dynamic, driven, and deeply connected marketing and sales professional who knows the Texas real estate title insurance landscape like the back of their hand. If you've built relationships with title companies, real estate attorneys, lenders, and agents - and you know what a data plant subscription actually does - we want to talk to you.
This isn't a role for someone learning the industry. This is a role for someone who owns it.
What You'll Do
  • Drive new business by prospecting and closing deals with title companies, landmen, real estate firms, lenders, and legal professionals across Texas markets
  • Sell and grow data plant subscriptions, educating clients on how our data solutions streamline their title search and underwriting workflows
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, cold outreach, industry events, and good old-fashioned relationship hustle
  • Develop and execute territory marketing plans that generate brand awareness and qualified leads in your assigned Texas markets
  • Collaborate with operations and product teams to relay market feedback and ensure clients get maximum value from their subscriptions
  • Represent the company at Texas land title association events, real estate conferences, and industry meetups - you're our face in the field
  • Track activity and results in CRM - you know the drill

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of proven business development or sales experience in Texas title insurance, abstracting, or real estate data services - this is non-negotiable
  • Solid working knowledge of data plant subscriptions, county-level title plants, and how title professionals use them day-to-day
  • An existing network of contacts in the Texas title, real estate, and mortgage industries (your Rolodex is a genuine asset here)
  • A hunter mentality paired with a consultative sales approach - you listen before you pitch
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to manage your own schedule across a large territory
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - you can explain complex data tools to a busy title officer in under five minutes
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with TLTA regulations and Texas-specific title industry norms

Bonus Points If You Have
  • Experience selling to Texas real estate agents, landmen, or underwriters
  • Existing relationships with major Texas title underwriters (First American, Fidelity, Stewart, Old Republic, etc.)
  • Marketing chops - content creation, email campaigns, social media presence in the title space

Why Join Us
  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission - your earnings grow with your pipeline
  • Flexible territory-based schedule - work from the field, not a cubicle
  • A product line that genuinely solves real problems for title professionals
  • Supportive leadership that understands the industry (no explaining what a "rundown" is around here)
  • Opportunities for rapid advancement as we expand across Texas and beyond
