Position Overview

The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, overseeing all financial operations, driving fiscal discipline, and supporting scalable growth. This role requires deep expertise in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, or supply chain finance. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead relationships with banks, investors, and financial partners.
  • Cost Optimization & Profitability
  • Analyze cost structures across freight operations, carrier relationships, and supply chain processes.
  • Implement strategies to improve margins, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive KPI development and financial performance metrics.
  • Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
  • Partner closely with operations, administration, and sales leaders to support integrated business performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in logistics, freight, transportation, or supply chain.
  • Demonstrated success in managing financial operations for a mid‑size or large organization.
  • Strong understanding of freight brokerage models, carrier payment cycles, fuel cost management, and transportation compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
