We are seeking Electrical Engineers for a two-year rotational program designed to develop well-rounded, collaborative engineers through exposure to a wide range of Center 7600 scope.
Participants in this three stop, eight month rotation will work across multiple technology areas within Center 7600, including the Advanced Mechanical Design Group, the Firing and Embedded Systems Group, the Interconnects and eFab Group, and the High-Reliability Electronics Group. After completion of the program, participants will return to their home assignment within the Firing Set and Embedded Systems Group. The program provides structured opportunities to strengthen systems thinking, expand professional networks, and accelerate career development while contributing to mission-critical national security work.
The selected applicants will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, qualifying, and monitoring high-consequence systems in support of U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force nuclear weapons programs, as well as other national security programs.

About Our Team
The Firing & Embedded Systems group (7620) is a recognized leader in realizing safe, secure, and reliable products. We research, design, develop, and deliver highly reliable, trusted systems and high consequence hardware and software products to serve our National Security customers today, tomorrow, and always.
Our technical backgrounds are diverse. Some of us have spent years focusing on the fine details of particular technologies and are recognized as nation-level specialists. Some of us are generalists and support multiple projects keeping things connected and developing new skills.
Our teams are comprised of specialists and generalists working together, and it is easy to shift between projects and technical roles over time.
If this environment sounds appealing, we'd like to meet you!

If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
