Job description

Job Summary
Establishes and maintains a master and sub-master key control system which includes logging all keys, selecting key combinations, making keys, and overseeing distribution of keys.
May be required to carry the on-call pager.
May be required to work weekends or rotating shifts.
Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Functions -Installs and maintains locks of all types which includes re-building locks and re-pinning cylinders, combination locks, electric strikers etc.
-Responds to emergency and non-emergency requests for mechanical service as needed.
-Interacts with vendors to review supplies and to assure timely and accurate delivery of materials.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Completion of a technical locksmith course beyond high school normally acquired through six months of training or equivalent experience.Knowledge of installation and maintenance of all types of door hardware including keying systems and broad-based experience in building trade maintenance usually acquired through two to three years of related experience in minor carpentry.
