As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at New Age Marriage Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and resources available for support.
• Providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, tailored to the unique circumstances of each case.
• Implementing specific therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy to guide clients toward healing and personal development.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate measurable goals and tailored interventions, adjusting them as necessary based on client progress.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care and referral processes when needed.
• Facilitating crisis interventions, performing risk assessments, and developing safety plans to manage acute situations effectively.
• Documenting treatment progress and interactions thoroughly and promptly, adhering to ethical standards and clinic policies.

The ideal candidate for the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• A proven record of effective therapeutic practices and strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, showcasing empathy and professionalism in all interactions.

While not mandatory, the following experience will be considered a strong asset:

• Experience working within a community health setting or with a diverse client base.
