Overview

Vayan Group is seeking a Quality Manufacturing (Operations) Manager to support quality inspection, project coordination, and customer relations across multiple manufacturing sites. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing daily operations across assigned customer sites and projects. This role ensures operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.


The Quality Manufacturing (Operations) Manager drives workforce planning, project execution, and process standardization in fast-paced manufacturing and quality environments. This leader plays a critical role in scaling operations, supporting customer launches, and developing site leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring successful execution of customer programs
  • Lead, develop, and manage Site Leaders, Supervisors, and field teams
  • Drive staffing strategy, including recruiting support, workforce planning, and labor optimization
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, customer requirements, and safety standards
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, quality, cost, and attendance
  • Own customer relationships at the site level, addressing escalations, concerns, and service delivery
  • Lead response efforts for quality issues, containment activities, and customer complaints
  • Support new program launches, including planning, staffing, and execution
  • Implement and enforce standardized operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance reviews
  • Manage operational budgets, labor costs, and financial performance for assigned regions
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Safety, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and communication across all levels of the organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or quality services
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a multi-site or high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and customer demands simultaneously
  • Experience in automotive, OEM, EV, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, inspections, and containment processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams); HRIS experience (Paycom preferred) is a plus
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends as needed


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • QMS, ISO, or AS9102 certification a plus.
