Job description

Location: Baltimore Orioles | Oriole Park at Camden Yards - Baltimore, MD
Reports To: Marketing Department
FLSA Status: Part-time, Hourly
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Baltimore Orioles seek Street Team Members, reporting to the Manager of Brand Activations, to assist the event execution at ballpark and off-site grassroots marketing events and activations.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of activation equipment including sound equipment, tables, tents, decorations, prizes, games, etc. at events at the ballpark or grassroots events in the community most weekends
  • Manage the "tent & table" activations while at all grassroots events by interacting with fans, distributing giveaways, and running on-site games and sweepstakes to help enhance events and grow team's brand
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to execute ballpark events and special ticket package item distribution such as Kids' Opening Day, Pride Night, Bark at Oriole Park, Heritage Nights, and Fan Appreciation Weekend
  • Execute off-site Orioles grassroots events, rallies, watch parties, school assemblies, mascot appearances, and other Street Team activations
  • Contribute to brainstorms and meetings to help enhance brand activations and grassroots marketing efforts
  • Positively represent and promote the Baltimore Orioles brand at Camden Yards and third-party events, conventions, and festivals in the market area
  • Various event-related responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible to be covered under the company's insurance policy
  • College students currently pursuing a degree in Sport Marketing, Sport Management, Events & Hospitality or Marketing preferred
  • Must have flexible schedule and be able to work long hours on nights and weekends for grassroots events and Orioles home games
  • Must be able to work for at least 5-10 hours per week
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
