Mail Clerk
Pay: $14.00/hour – Paid Weekly
Schedule: Employee will spend one month on a shift, then switch
• 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday
• 9:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday
The EG Workforce Managed Services team is looking to add a new, fantastic team member to our team. We have a full-time Mail Clerk/Delivery position with a long-term client in Jackson, MI. This is not a temporary role.
*Mail services experience and valid driver's license required*

Job Summary:
Will be responsible for process inbound and outbound US mail, UPS. Fill in local courier duties as needed when primary driver is absent.
                       
Position Responsibilities:
• Sort and deliver US Mail and inter-office envelopes
• Receive/scan and deliver  inbound UPS/FedEx shipments
Receive/prepare/ship palletized materials
• Process and ship outbound US Mail/UPS/FedEx
• Stock Business Centers with paper for copy machines
• Deliver/pickup moving crates to assist with employee moves
• Assist Customers
• Package outbound materials
• Unloading packages from carts unload trucks.
• Data entry, email, Skype
• Courier deliveries/pickups to Consumers locations around Jackson & sometimes Lansing (extended Cargo Van) No CDL needed.
Qualifications:
• Basic word and excel preferred but not required
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good driving record
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently. Over 60 lbs. requires team lift or lift assist. 
• Required to stand/and or walk up to 6 hour per day
• Sitting on average 2 hours per day.
• Gripping/grasping, bending/twisting, writing frequently
• Kneeling/Crouch-occasionally
• May be required to climb stairs.
