Housekeeper
Pay: $14.00-$14.90/hour – Paid Weekly
Schedule: (Exact schedule will depend on position availability)
• 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm
• 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm
This is an entry-level, contract to hire position.
EG Workforce Solutions is hiring Housekeepers on behalf of a premier company in Lansing, MI. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and grow your career!
Company Benefits:
• Eligible for Benefits (medical, vision, dental and HSA) after 60 days of employment
• Eligible for 6 Paid Holidays after 1500 Hours
Position Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness across various areas within an assembly plant, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, production floors, and external spaces
• Operate ride-on cleaning equipment and manage spill cleanups, including but not limited to substances such as blood, oil, bodily fluids, battery acid, and water
• Remove scrap metal and debris from floors and building surfaces
• Dust and sweep hard-to-reach areas such as tunnels and trestles
• Lock out client work lines for safe cleaning operations
• Maintain DVT booths and scrubber dumps
• Fulfill specific cleaning requests from clients and detail large areas
• Adapt to changing tasks and schedules, including staying late or coming in early as needed
Requirements:
• Ability to be on your feet for the majority of each shift
• Must be able to bend, lift and twist
• Excellent attendance
• Reliable transportation
