Job Title: Robotics Vision Engineer.
Pay Range: $38-$49/hour.
Location: 12200 Brookpark Rd, Parma, OH 44130.
Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be able to reliably commute to/from work.
  • Must be in/near Cleveland, OH or relocate at your own expense before starting in this position.

JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE:
Automation Intelligence, a Peak Technologies company, Robotics Vision Engineer is responsible for configuring and supporting vision systems integrated with robotic automation for part picking, placing, and inspection. This role involves on-site work at customer locations and includes installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and operation of vision-guided robotic systems. The engineer works with a variety of camera technologies and robotic platforms and must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Travel and shift work are required.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Configure and support vision-guided robotic systems for part handling and inspection applications.
  • Work directly with Keyence, Photoneo, and Matrox camera systems to set up and maintain machine vision capabilities.
  • Integrate vision systems with Fanuc robotic platforms, ensuring accurate calibration and reliable performance.
  • Support installation, testing, and validation of systems at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vision hardware, software, and robotic integration.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure successful system deployment and operation.
  • Maintain a professional presence and communication with customers during on-site support.
  • Comply with shift schedules and travel requirements to support operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within area of expertise.
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS:
  • Experience with vision-guided robotic applications, including part picking, placement, and inspection.
  • Proficiency in working with Fanuc robots and associated vision integration.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with engineering and customer teams.
  • Strong communication skills and professional customer engagement.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to customer sites.
  • Availability for shift-based work.
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering (preferred).
  • AIA (Automated Imaging Association) certification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Fusion 360 for mechanical modeling or layout (preferred).
  • Familiarity with PLC controls and automation system integration (preferred).
  • Experienced with bodyshop robotic processes.
  • GRS certified.
