Job Title: Machine Operators & Material Handlers

1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift Available

$18-$21/hour!

Job Description

This role combines machine operation and material handling in a high-volume metals manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of production machines, including drill presses, shear presses, punch presses, straightening presses, torches, and other metal processing equipment.
  • Load and unload machines safely and efficiently, ensuring materials are positioned correctly for each operation.
  • Use overhead cranes, forklifts, CombiLift equipment, and other material handling tools to move products and raw materials throughout the facility.
  • Monitor machines during operation to ensure products move correctly through the process and meet quality and production standards.
  • Perform general production tasks such as machine operation, basic machine shop duties, general labor, and general warehouse activities as needed.
  • Perform housekeeping and special cleanup duties as assigned, including maintaining production lines and surrounding areas.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and leads to meet daily production goals and adapt to changing priorities.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
