Delivery Driver at Long Lake Marina

The Role
At Long Lake Marina, we are dedicated to providing our customers with the ultimate Maine boating experience. We are looking for a reliable, high-energy Delivery Driver to join our team in Naples.
Work Schedule & Availability
Since the lakes are the busiest when our customers are off work, full weekend and holiday availability is a mandatory requirement. Major holidays included in this requirement are Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day in-season. This is a high-intensity role during the peak of the boating season.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for safely towing and maneuvering boat trailers of various sizes through traffic and into local launch ramps. You must be able to back up a trailer with precision. You will be required to execute a full launch process including critical safety checks (drain plugs, blowers, battery switches, and tie-downs. With these skills, you will also need to be able to confidently drive, dock, and secure a variety of vessels including pontoons, tritoons, and towboats. By interacting with the customers, you will represent Long Lake Marina with a professional attitude while assisting customers with basic boat operations during the hand-off.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience towing and reversing trailers is mandatory, and a practical driving test will be part of the interview process. You must have strong knowledge of boat handling, docking, and inland water safety rules. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations) is required for insurance. You must also be able to pass a standard criminal background check.
Physical demands include the following:
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move gear up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently climb in and out of boats while they are on trailers or at the dock.
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in the Maine summer heat or rain.
