Job description

Operators are responsible for controlling and executing operations of light assembly and final part packing operations according to work instructions and requirements.Responsibilities:Performs machine, assembly and packing operations with limited dimensional inspection to detect defects or equipment malfunction.Responsible to recognize and identify suspect and non-conforming parts.Responsible to assure proper use of all appropriate safeguarding and safety features at all times.Efficiently and accurately reports inventory and labor data to maintain accurate and timely records.Perform various other duties from time to time required by the Supervisor and/or Production Manager.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent with appropriate relevant experience. This is a hands-on position and requires mechanical abilities and problem solving skills. The work requires standing, bending and repetitive motions. Lifting of 40 pounds is required, as well as the ability to grip and use hand tools. Must possess general knowledge of metal stamping equipment operation. Ability to complete required paperwork through basic reading and writing skills.
