Job description

Job Title: Assembler

Location : Woodridge

Pay: $19/hr

Job Description

This role focuses on light assembly work within a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. You will assemble components, follow detailed written instructions, and use computers and test equipment to ensure products meet quality and safety standards. This is a first-shift position with opportunities for overtime and long-term employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform light assembly of parts and components according to written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Read and follow detailed instructions in English to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Use touchscreen computers and a mouse to access work instructions, record production data, and navigate relevant software.
  • Operate basic manufacturing machinery and test equipment as required for the assembly process.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks, including soldering when needed, following safety and quality guidelines.
  • Inspect assembled parts for quality, ensuring they meet established standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work cell, keeping tools, equipment, and materials in proper order.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies while working on the production line.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Adapt to overtime schedules when required, including extended weekday hours and occasional Saturday shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WOODRIDGE, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
