As an Office Assistant, you will be representing the professionalism and high quality care of the practice. This part time position comes with competitive compensation and great benefits!. We're seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to contribute to the smooth operation of the practice's administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence to ensure efficient communication.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and maintain calendars for hospital personnel.
  • Assist with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining electronic and paper files.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
  • Support billing and invoicing processes as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using office software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Interest in developing skills in workplace ergonomics, including a willingness to pursue training in ergonomic workstation assessments and assist with basic office ergonomic evaluations.
  • Interest in providing Employee Health clinical support within the appropriate scope of a non-certified staff member, such as assisting with workflow, documentation, equipment preparation, employee education materials, and other delegated tasks that do not require clinical licensure or certification.
  • Willingness to cross-train and expand responsibilities as Employee Health services and departmental needs evolve.
  • Strong interest in employee wellness, workplace safety, and supporting a positive employee health experience.
Working Hours:
This is a part time position, 32 hours per week. Monday-Friday.
