Job description

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma, preference may be given to applicants with college education
  2. Experience in basic office skills with ability to proficiently operate word processing and statistical software - specifically Google Suite
  3. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with administrators, teachers, students, board members, and public
  4. Maintain confidentiality of records and information
  5. Ability to write and/or edit correspondence, using proper grammar, spelling and punctuation, bilingual preferred
  6. Ability to perform a variety of detailed, difficult tasks, involving use of idependent judgment and organizational skills
  7. Ablity to operate a variety of office equipment, i.e., word processor, calculator, copier, fax machine, etc
  8. Ability to work independent of direct supervision
  9. Excellent organizational skills
  10. Familiarity with Skyward and Infinite Campus


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY TO

Director of District Programs, AVID, Travel

Director of CTE, District Discipline and High School
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 



  1. Process travel requests
  2. Attend various Committee meetings, taking notes/minutes
  3. Support Administrators with AVID and Career and Technical Education
  4. Purchase orders and bookkeeping including State and Federal Grant Funds
  5. Correspondence/editing/tracking of CPR certification
  6. Provide front desk/phone assistance as needed   
  7. Support discipline hearings as needed
  8. Support District safetly processes

Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the District Director(s) in conformance with federal and state law, administrative rules, and Board policy.

These are set forth only to advise the employee of when and what type of services will be required by the district so long as the employment continues.
