Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Landscape Technician is responsible for maintaining the appearance, health, and cleanliness of outdoor properties and grounds. This position performs a variety of landscape maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, weed control, seasonal clean-up, and snow removal. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and committed to maintaining attractive and safe properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and general turf maintenance.

• Planting, watering, mulching, weeding, and maintaining landscaped beds, shrubs, and trees.

• Seasonal spring and fall clean-up, including leaf removal and debris pick-up.

• Trash removal and policing exterior common areas, parking lots, sidewalks, and landscaped areas.

• Operating landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other power equipment.

• Assisting with snow removal operations as needed, including shoveling, salting, and snow-blowing.

• Providing proactive reporting to any issues that affect safety, exterior appearance, irrigation, or plant health.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation to job sites is required.

• Prior landscaping, grounds maintenance, or commercial property exterior maintenance experience preferred.

• Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and power equipment.

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Bilingual – English/Spanish is a plus.
