Job Summary

The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance, health, and functionality of residential and commercial landscapes. This role performs lawn care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, and seasonal property upkeep while operating landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. The Landscaper ensures all work is completed according to company quality standards and safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform lawn maintenance activities including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and general groundskeeping.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other power tools.
  • Plant, mulch, prune, weed, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape features.
  • Apply fertilizers, soil amendments, and other landscape treatments as directed.
  • Remove debris, leaves, branches, and other materials to maintain clean and attractive properties.
  • Assist with landscape installation projects including sod, plants, irrigation components, and hardscape materials.
  • Inspect equipment before and after use and report maintenance or repair needs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment and performing job duties.
  • Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and landscaping materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist with seasonal services including leaf removal, storm cleanup, and property preparation.
  • Operate Bobcat equipment and/or tractors when qualified and assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional landscaping or lawn maintenance experience required.
  • Experience operating commercial lawn care equipment, including riding and walk-behind mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
  • Experience with Bobcat and/or tractor operation preferred.
  • Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance practices, and safe equipment operation.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Essential Job Function

•    Ability to safely operate landscaping and lawn maintenance equipment.
•    Ability to perform physically demanding work including bending, stooping, kneeling, and prolonged standing or walking.
•    Ability to lift, carry, and move 40+ pounds regularly.
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Effective verbal communication skills and ability to follow directions.
