LABOURER - BRADFORD, ETOBICOKE, STOUFFVILLE- SAFEGUARD

We create complete workplace safety solutions for roadworks, buildings, facilities, railways, and other infrastructure projects. And we do it in our own way with intention and great care. We are leaders in our industry, supported by an exceptional team.


We are looking to add Labourer positions to our team at Safeguard!


Safeguard Perimeter Inc. is a leading provider of innovative hostilemitigation barrier systems, as well as temporary fencing and event rental solutions. We specialize in delivering reliable, durable, and effective products designed to meet the needs of businesses, government agencies, and event organizers.


Hours are typically 15-20 hours a week but can go up to 40 hours a week in the summer months/early Fall!


You have:


  • 1+ years of labour experience, preferred experience in event setup/traffic control
  • Must be reliable, responsible and conduct oneself in a professional manner; company perception and customer satisfaction are key to our success
  • An energetic team player who can work well and communicate with others, as well as be self-directed and work independently
  • Must be available to workdays, nights and weekends as required. Hours may vary depending on the season.
  • Capable of interpreting various construction related drawings and document.
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs+ regularly
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks outside in all types of weather and terrain
  • Valid Ontario drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Must be comfortable working alongside traffic & busy roadways
  • Health & Safety conscious, ensuring safety and emergency procedures are followed

As a Labouer, you will:

  • Work in all weather conditions, with flexibility in your schedule based on client requirements.
  • Perform a wide variety of jobs and duties as assigned, with a high level of proficiency and accuracy
  • Demonstrate problem solving, planning, and organizing skills
  • Identify requirements for materials, tools and communicate these to Operations
  • Review all jobs assigned to ensure no issues and properly plan to use all materials effectively
  • Accountable to ensure working tools are properly used, treated with care and returned.
  • Ensure any daily maintenance/inspections are completed
  • Participate in the safety culture and complete all required paperwork such as tool box talks, job sheets, traffic plan etc. in accordance with the company policys and work safe procedures
  • Accountable for proper and timely reporting of accidents, near miss, first aid, and incidents to Operations
  • Be available for out-of-town work should the need arise.
  • Other duties as required
