Job description

The Construction Laborer will support a small team working on residential and commercial projects, assisting with essential onsite tasks to ensure smooth operations. This role involves material handling, equipment operation, and general labor duties, with occasional use of heavy machinery and potential overtime or weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and transport construction materials efficiently
  • Operate equipment as needed, including occasional heavy machinery
  • Maintain tools and clean job sites to ensure safety and organization
  • Load and unload materials and supplies from vehicles
  • Assist with paving and other general labor tasks onsite
  • Collaborate effectively within a small team of 1-5 members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level construction labor experience
  • Valid CT Drivers License, CDL preferred
  • Ability to pass a DOT Physical
  • Knowledge of basic construction tools
