5:00PM-5:00AM. 3 x 12 hour shifts, 36 Guaranteed Hours

Unit Information:  Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum

Tell us about the unit(s):

·       Number of Beds - 8

·       Number of Staff – 19

·       Shift for the Traveler – Days 0500-1700 3 shifts one week and 2 the next week

·       Type of staff:

o   Day Shift – 1 Charge 1 RN

o   Night Shift - 1 Charge 1 RN

·       Patient Ratios – 2/1 Labor patients 4/1 Couplets (mother/baby)

·       Type of equipment – Fetal monitors

·       EMR – Meditech. CPN

·       On Call Requirements – 1 Call shift a week with the potential for 2 calls on week with only 2 shifts

·       Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
