Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients on a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit following an inpatient rooming model, with infants rooming in with mothers
  • Monitor and care for neonatal and adult patient age groups, utilizing newborn nursery when clinically indicated
  • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
  • Communicate effectively using the SBAR communication framework
  • Participate in rotating weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis
Required Qualifications
  • Active Massachusetts RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
  • BLS certification (Required)
  • ACLS certification (Required)
  • NRP certification (Required)
  • AWHONN Beginner certification (Required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification preferred
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
