Actively Hiring for Lab Assistant to join top medical laboratory in Norcross, GA!

Job Description

As a Lab Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various duties assigned by the department, maintaining accurate records and documentation, recognizing unusual results and resolving discrepancies, and communicating unusual occurrences to management.

Responsibilities

• Perform SATR.
• Operate P512.
• Receive and sort boxes.
• Sort samples.
• Operate IDETIC as assigned.
• Conduct sample investigations.
• Dispose of biohazard materials.

Essential Skills

• Experience in laboratory settings.
• Proficient in sample handling and accessioning.
• Ability to conduct data entry efficiently.
• Knowledge of inventory management, SOP, and quality control.

Work Environment

Warehouse and laboratory environment

Lab Assistant | Day shift (Sunday-Wednesday)

Regular Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Training Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (training schedule may change depending on needs)

Need to be able to start within the next week and not currently working any other job.

This is a Contract position based out of Norcross, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
