Job description

Pay: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour

Job description: We are looking for an experienced Loader Operator to operate heavy machinery, such as wheel loaders, to load, move, and transport materials on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to efficiently manage equipment to meet project requirements.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operate wheel loaders to load materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and other materials into trucks.
  • Transport materials to designated locations on the site.
  • Maintain and inspect the loader to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Work closely with supervisors to ensure efficient loading and material handling.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during machine operation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with general labor when needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating loaders on construction sites.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and machinery maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Requirements: Travel to jobsites Sterling, CO and Siebert CO

  • Ability to meet all physical requirements of the role.
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Willingness to climb, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical evaluation, and background check
