Job description

This at-will position is for being a primary supervisor and monitoring dogs inside of the daycare play areas to ensure their safety and well-being. Engaging with dogs through play, exercise, and training activities. Feeding and administering medication as directed by their
owners. Cleaning and maintaining the daycare facility to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor. Works effectively with other team members and continue to improve and develop skills and knowledge.
Essential Functions:

Kennel Technician:
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Supervising and monitoring dogs in the daycare play areas to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Engaging with the dogs through play, exercise, and training activities.
  • Feeding and administering medication to dogs as directed by their owners.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the daycare facility to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Interacting with clients and providing exceptional customer service.

The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 30 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity of environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, etc. climbing stairs and walking, or its equivalent up to 5 miles for the entire shift. All job functions will be completed in a variety of environmental conditions including adverse weather and extreme temperatures.
