Synergy HomeCare is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Lead Weekend Scheduler to oversee our weekend care coordination and caregiving staff. In this role, you will be the vital link between our clients and caregivers during weekend hours, ensuring seamless continuity of care, handling emergency schedule adjustments, and leading the weekend scheduling team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule Management: Coordinate, modify, and optimize client schedules and caregiver assignments from Friday afternoon through Monday morning.

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direct support to junior weekend schedulers, acting as the primary point of escalation for complex scheduling conflicts.

  • On-Call Management: Serve as the main contact for urgent, last-minute shift call-outs and client emergencies, rapidly finding suitable caregiver replacements.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure accurate data entry within the scheduling software system and maintain compliance with company care standards.

  • Communication: Deliver clear, empathetic, and professional updates to clients, their families, and caregiving staff regarding any scheduling changes.

  • Staff Meetings: Attend one mandatory Monday staff meeting each month (in-person preferred, but Google Meet options are available).

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare scheduling, medical staffing, or home care coordination is preferred (but not required).

  • Leadership: Proven experience leading a team, managing workflows, or acting in a supervisory capacity.

  • Technology: Proficiency with or willingness to learn AxisCare software, along with comfort using Google Meet and standard office productivity suites.

  • Availability: Must be fully available to work dedicated weekend blocks, including daytime and on-call evening hours spanning Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
