• Current Louisiana Physical Therapist license

What You Will Do:
Plan and implement physical therapy treatment programs for assigned patients in accordance with medical diagnosis and rehabilitation goals, collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and interdisciplinary team goals
• Provide therapy services including mobility training, strength and endurance exercises, coordination, self-care training, sensory stimulation, and gait training
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and techniques to support recovery
• Document all care provided including assessments, treatments, progress, and billing procedures per department standards
• Collaborate with team members during interdisciplinary conferences to align care plans and discharge strategies
• Coordinate and recommend discharge needs, including conducting home evaluations and arranging for necessary equipment
• Train staff on patient-specific equipment and care procedures
• Participate in continuing education, departmental meetings, and performance improvement initiatives
• Provide mentorship, training, and supervision to assistants, techs, students, and volunteers
• Fulfill other duties and projects as assigned
