Job Description

• Perform detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations and thorough medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting lab results and imaging studies
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Deliver crucial intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, managing patient positioning, and providing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, performing wound care, executing discharge plans, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical care is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
