Job description

Job Summary:
IMAX is a global leader in entertainment technology, dedicated to creating awe-inspiring experiences for audiences worldwide. The Analyst, Distribution role supports the film distribution and operations teams by maintaining critical data, reporting, and systems to ensure smooth execution of film releases and accurate box office tracking.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and distribute various daily and weekly reports to internal IMAX teams.
• Maintain and update the IMAX theatre master list to ensure data accuracy.
• Create, maintain, and extend film ID codes through FTM and distribute to relevant internal groups.
• Ensure accuracy of all information within the IMAX booking system in FTM.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of Title Bible data.
• Update and distribute the IMAX international film slate to internal teams and external partners.
• Assist with box office data entry and reporting.
• Provide support to Alternative and Local Language teams as needed.
• Assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
• Draft and distribute notes for Film Distribution meetings.
• Track pre-sales data using the EntTelligence platform.
• Process invoices, ensuring proper coding and timely payment.
• Participate in FTM system enhancements, including discussions and testing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3+ years of relevant work experience; experience in entertainment, distribution, or post-production is an asset.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
• Intellectual curiosity with a willingness to challenge existing processes.
• Professional and positive demeanor, especially under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required.
