Job description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a CNC PROGRAMMING position, NOT a CNC Operator position.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience programming CNC machinery, interpreting engineering drawings, using measuring devices, and developing or modifying programs to meet production specifications.

IMPORTANT: Candidates must have actual CNC programming experience. CNC machine operation experience alone does not qualify for this position.

  • Hours may vary depending on production orders and business needs
  • Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Job Responsibilities

  • Program CNC machines according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements
  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs
  • Set up and prepare CNC equipment for production
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Determine appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining processes
  • Make program adjustments to improve quality, efficiency, and production performance
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments
  • Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications
  • Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues
  • Work closely with supervisors, machinists, and production personnel to identify and resolve production issues
  • Assist with process improvements and recommend ways to improve efficiency
  • Ensure programs and machine setups meet quality and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate production and programming documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Must be able to work safely around machinery and production equipment

Work Environment

This is a busy, fast-paced manufacturing facility. Employees are expected to work efficiently, maintain quality, and meet production requirements.

This is NOT a warehouse position. The facility is not climate controlled, and employees should be prepared to work in varying temperatures and production conditions.

Requirements

  • Resume/work history REQUIRED
  • CNC programming experience REQUIRED
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required
